Dialogos Radio Summer Update – July 2013

Dear friends and listeners of Dialogos Radio,

Our weekly radio program continues its summer hiatus, after our special broadcast on the shutdown of ERT, Greece’s national public broadcaster.  While we are on hiatus, we are busy planning exciting new features for Dialogos Radio, which we will be ready to bring to you when we resume our broadcasts in late August or early September.  As always, announcements will be posted here, so stay tuned for updates on the return of our weekly broadcasts.

In the meantime, we continue to webcast online, non-stop, via what are now our two online streams. Dialogos Radio 24/7, in a show of support with ERT and its employees, continues its non-stop rebroadcast of ERT national radio’s protest broadcast.  This broadcast can be heard by clicking on our Dialogos Radio 24/7 player on the right-hand side of this website, or by listening via iTunes Radio, TuneIn.com, or the official Dialogos Radio Android app.

For those, however, who have missed our normally-scheduled Dialogos Radio 24/7 programming, including great Greek music and programs plus interviews from our archives, we have started a second stream, where our normal programming is heard at its usual schedule.  You can tune in through the following means:

In the meantime, we hope to keep writing as well, as we have done with two recent pieces that we’ve had published: our Daily Kos piece on the shutdown of ERT, and our Greek translation of our recent interview with Greg Palast, which was published in Greece’s Hot Doc magazine.  Further articles will be announced here, as well as on our Twitter and Facebook accounts!

Speaking of Twitter, we are posting daily updates on the latest regarding the shutdown of ERT in Greece, and will soon be broadening our tweeting and commentary to include other current events of concern to Greece, the Greek people, and the worldwide Greek community.  Feel free to follow us and to engage in “dialogos” with us via Twitter: @dialogosmedia.

Finally, we wish all of our listeners a pleasant summer, and look forward to being back on the air with you for our weekly programs, in just a few more weeks!
